Dr. Kamlesh Kumari is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi, with over five years of teaching experience. She holds qualifications in CSIR-UGC-NET, State Eligibility Test (SET/SLET), and GATE-XL, and was a recipient of the UGC-BSR Research Fellowship (JRF-SRF) from 2015 to 2018.

Dr. Kumari has published 11 research papers and contributed 3 chapters to reputed academic books. She has organized and conducted several workshops, skill development programmes, and educational field trips to promote experiential learning in Botany and Life Sciences, which include:

• A workshop on “Landscape Designing and Gardening using AutoCAD” held on 29 April 2024.
• A one-week Skill Development Programme on “Hydroponics and Aeroponics—The Future of Sustainable Farming”, conducted from 24 February to 01 March 2025 at Daulat Ram College, where she also delivered a lecture titled “Exploring Various Methods of Plant Propagation and Composting.”

Dr. Kumari is also the co-editor of the book "Lianas 2024–2025: Nature’s Pharmacy", published by FA Digital Productions, New Delhi (ISBN: 978-93-92603-24-2).
