Lt. Dr. Suparna Jain Thakur

Lt. Dr Suparna Jain Thakur specializes in Psychology of Gender and Psychology of the Marginalized. Her research work focuses majorly on Benevolent sexism and Affirmative action. On the teaching front, she has 15 + years of experience and teaches the papers on statistical methods in psychology, research methods, gender and social psychology. She is the convener of capacity building centre run by the department of psychology wherein she holds research-based workshops and skill based programs for the students. She is currently running a Navdhara project on cyber safety for the students. She is also the Associate NCC officer of the college, commissioned by the Ministry of Defense in 2020.
