Dr. Kshitija Wason

Dr Kshitija Wason is a psychologist with training from Delhi University) and IIT Delhi. She has worked in different roles as Researcher at NCERT ‘s Department of Women’s Studies (Project Fellow), IISC, Centre for Contemporary studies (Library & Writing Fellow), Bangalore and as an Academician for nearly 14+ years. She has also worked as a Psychologist in Management Consultancies in Delhi (Applied Research International) and Gurgaon (Centre for Growth Alternatives). She has taught at Christ University and Alliance University Bangalore, IMI Delhi at the Master’s Level, and at Under Graduate level in Colleges of Delhi University viz. Lady Irwin, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and at Daulat Ram College, since 2017 where she is currently engaged as Assistant Professor, Psychology.

Her Research areas and publications span National and International Journals like Psychological Studies(Springer) , Social Welfare(CSWB) around the areas of developmental and social cognition, conflicts, intergroup relations, organizational and environmental justice, social identity and issues of gender at the workplace. Developmental Attachment of and Psychosocial Aspects in rehabilitation of Runaway children is the latest International publication in the peer review International journal. She is herself a peer reviewer for various international APA and AOM Journals and is also doing collaborative international research on body image issues in immigrant Indian population with LaTrobe University School of Public Health and Psychology ,Melbourne. She is Associate guest editor on a special issue Of pain research and Management a Frontiers journal. Administratively she has served as Convenor Tajagna The Quiz Society, and actively engaged as member of Hostel Committee, as Member in the Women’s Development Cell, Sepia and Magic Lantern, The Film Society, Website and Social Media Committees of Daulat Ram College.
