
Daulat Ram College is a place of holistic learning, and its Hostel is a home away from home for its resident students. Daulat Ram College Hostel was established in 1974 with the objective of providing safe and in-premises accommodation to the girl students from different places of India and abroad. Situated within the sylvan greens of the Daulat Ram Campus, with easy metro and road connectivity to all parts of the city, the Hostel is exclusively meant for 166 undergraduate girl students at the College.
It is equipped with state-of-the-art modern amenities, the air-conditioned rooms, in-house laundry facilities, Wi-Fi connectivity, and CCTV surveillance facilities for the utmost safety and security of the residents. The dedicated computer room and in-house medical room ensure that all aspects of digital connectivity, well-being, and health are covered. The well-laid-out lawns and gardens make it an idyllic space for learning and safety among the hustle-bustle of the city. Having its own kitchen garden and a well-provisioned dining hall, the hostel takes care of utmost hygiene standards, providing high nutritional values to its residents.

- Hostel admission is conducted afresh every year and is open only to first year undergraduate students.
- A student who has secured admission in the college is eligible for hostel accommodation.
- The hostel seats are allotted on the basis of merit and reservation policy of the Government of India.
- The admission to the hostel for first year students will be based on the CUET Score on which the student is admitted to the college.
- Students residing in or around NCT of Delhi and NCR* are not eligible for hostel accommodation. In case seats remain vacant after the final round of allocation, the college reserves the right to open the vacant seats for students of all the years, including NCR students, on a merit basis.

- The registration will be considered complete only when students have paid the online registration fee and filled the mandatory online Google Registration Form.
- The list of students selected for in-person document verification will be notified on the college website as per the above schedule.
- The selected students need to appear personally for the interaction accompanied by their parents and local guardian.
- On the day of interaction, the student can collect the Bulletin of Information 2026-27 containing the admission form physically from the Hostel Office after submitting the registration transaction receipt.
- At the time of admission interaction, the student is required to bring the filled admission form along with the self-attested documents (Annexure given below).
- Those who abstain from the hostel interaction will have no claim on the hostel seat.
- After interaction and successful verification of the documents, the student must pay the hostel fee within the prescribed schedule. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of the hostel seat allotment.
- The students selected in the first list after successful verification of documents, interaction and payment of hostel admission fee can take residency in the hostel from 28th July 2026.
- In case seats remain vacant, the college reserves the right to open the vacant seats for students of all years on a merit basis.

*** Mess fees and other charges may be revised during the year due to inflation. Mess fees will be collected semester-wise as per the university academic calendar. The second instalment of mess fees must be paid within 10 days of the notice date. A fine of ₹100 will be imposed for delay in the first week and ₹30 per day thereafter.
Important Information
- Hostel security is refundable after all dues and damages are cleared. Refunds must be claimed by the end of the financial year in which the student vacates the hostel; otherwise, it will lapse to the hostel account.
- Students staying beyond the semester end (May) will be charged guest fees at ₹350/day in advance.
- Non-payment of dues exceeding one month will lead to loss of hostel privileges.
- Hostel account office hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on working days.
- Admission fee must be paid online.
- UGC fee refund policy will be followed if a student withdraws from the hostel.
