Ms. Akanksha

Ms. Akanksha is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. She has been serving in this role since January 2023. Previously, she taught as a Guest Faculty at Kirori Mal College and Bharti College, NCWEB.

Ms. Akanksha is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Jawaharlal Nehru University. She holds an MA in Economics from the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda and a BA (H) in Economics from Hansraj College, University of Delhi.

Her academic interests include Mathematical Methods for Economics and Statistical Methods for Economics. She has taught courses such as Introductory Microeconomics, Statistical Methods for Economics, Development Economics, and Basic Mathematics for Economic Analysis.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Ms. Akanksha actively participates in administrative roles at Daulat Ram College. She serves as the Liaison Officer (EWS) (2024–26) and is a member of the Admission Helpdesk Committee (2024–25) and the Gender Champion Cell. She has also contributed as a resource person in skill development programs on ICT tools for enhanced learning.

Her professional development includes completing the Faculty Induction Programme and NEP 2020 Orientation under national teacher training initiatives.
