Dr. Srishty Kasana

Dr. Srishty Kasana earned her PhD from the Department of Finance and Business Economics, University of Delhi. She holds an M.A. in Economics from Ambedkar University of Delhi and a B.A. (Hons) in Economics from Miranda House. She has extensive teaching experience, having taught both undergraduate and postgraduate (MBA) students at the University of Delhi and various other institutions, including Miranda House, Indraprastha College for Women (IPCW), PGDAV College (M), and Jaipuria Institute of Management (JIM)-Noida.

In 2019, she represented the University of Delhi in an international student exchange program at the University of Dabrowa Gornicza, Poland, where she was awarded a scholarship of €2800 (equivalent to ₹2,25,000). Currently, she serves as a Co-Principal Investigator for an ongoing research project funded by Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. Her research primarily focuses on Climate Change and Agriculture.

Dr. Kasana has presented her research papers at prestigious institutions, including IIT Bombay, the Indian Institution of Public Administration (IIPA), the University of Delhi, TERI University, Mahatma Gandhi Central University, and the National Institution of Securities Market (NISM), an educational institution established by SEBI. She has published her work in various journals and book chapters and has been invited to deliver lectures on Climate Change and Agriculture at institutions such as Indraprastha College for Women (IPCW), Bharati College, Jesus and Mary College (JMC), and PGDAV College (M). Additionally, she has actively participated in numerous workshops and Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs).

Beyond academics, Dr. Kasana has a strong background in sports and social outreach initiatives. She represented Delhi State in National Gymnastics Championships held in Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune, securing four gold medals in the Delhi State Championships. Currently, she actively participates in deadlift championships. She was also an organizing member of a social outreach program in Hamirpur and Bani, Himachal Pradesh, conducted under the aegis of IMiLI, ISME, FEMS, INSCR, and IUMS, in collaboration with Ramjas College, Kirorimal College, SGTB Khalsa College, and Phixgen Pvt Ltd.
