Dr. Devendra Kumar

Dr. Devendra Kumar is Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut, where he also completed his M.A. and B.A. in Economics.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Dr. Kumar has been a faculty member at Daulat Ram College since January 2023. Prior to this, he served at Janki Devi Memorial College, University of Delhi. His areas of specialization include Macroeconomics, Development Economics, Political Economy, and Economic History.

Dr. Kumar has been actively involved in academic administration, serving on several key committees, including the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Ranking Work Committee. He has also contributed to student development through leadership roles in finance and investment-related initiatives.

His research focuses on economic governance and policy, with publications in reputed journals such as the Indian Economic Journal. He has also presented papers at national and international conferences. Recognized for academic excellence, he received the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Memorial Gold Medal for his M.A. in Economics.

Dr. Kumar remains committed to advancing economic research and education, fostering critical thinking among students, and contributing to institutional development.
