Dr. Umesh Kumari
Dr. Umesh Kumari joined the Department of Mathematics at Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi, in 2022. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mathematics from MDU, Rohtak, and Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan, respectively. She further pursued an M.Phil. from MDU, Rohtak, and earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer. Her research specializes in Queueing Theory, and her doctoral studies were supported by a Junior Research Fellowship. Dr. Kumari has published seven research papers in reputed international journals and has actively contributed to the academic community by participating in various workshops and presenting her work at national and international conferences.
She is also a member of the course committee for value addition course (VAC) - Vedic Mathematics-III, University of Delhi. In addition to her research, she is dedicated to mentoring students, promoting critical thinking, and contributing to academic development.
