Dr. Astha Chauhan

Dr. Astha Chauhan joined the Department of Mathematics of Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi in Oct 2022. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. She secured first position in both graduation and post-graduation. She completed her M.Phil. in the Department of Mathematics, Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. She is the recipient of the Vice-Chancellor's Gold Medal for securing the highest marks in M.Phil. She completed her PhD. from IIT Roorkee. Her specialization consists of studying shock waves in gas dynamics, hyperbolic conservation laws, and nonlinear dynamics. She availed of UGC-JRF and SRF fellowship during her Ph.D. She has published more than 20 research articles in journals of international repute. She participated in many workshops and presented papers at various national and international conferences.
