Dr. Sunita Kumari Yadav
Dr. Sunita K. Yadav is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology at Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. With a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, her primary research expertise lies in vaccine development against fish using recombinant proteins of bacteria, with a focus on immunogenic response. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in areas of immunology, protein expression, and public health, including several impactful studies related to COVID-19. Dr. Yadav has also contributed to books and practical manuals in Biotechnology and Immunology. Her research interests span vaccine immunology, microbial pathogenesis, COVID-19-related health aspects, and the application of natural or synthetic compounds as antimicrobial agents in therapeutics. She has been actively involved in CSIR- and college-funded projects, furthering work on long-term COVID-19 effects and nanoparticle-based antimicrobial strategies along with supervising students for short-term training programs. Alongside her academic and research pursuits, she has organized and served as a resource person in various development programs, promoting scientific learning and innovation among students and peers.
