‘Koshika’, a Zoological society, plays a pivotal role in educating and preparing students for Research and Development in the field of science, along with showcasing their talent. Every year at the start of a new academic session, ‘’Koshika’’ conducts elections for the positions of its office bearers as the first step in launching its activities. Aspiring students are enlightened with scientific talks and lecture series about current trends in the space pertaining to innovation in the field, guidance and counselling on research opportunities, etc. These sessions are delivered by multiple distinguished scientists. It provides an unparalleled platform for the students to sharpen their scientific knowledge through various competitions like quizzes, Debates, crosswords, Science trivia, and Posters. The inter-college Zoological festival "Cognoscere" is celebrated every year with great zeal and draws active and resounding participation from the students throughout Delhi University. The success and excellence of the department are, to a great extent, the culmination of contributions by both our students and the faculty members.
