Dr. Deepak Kumar

I am currently working as Asstt. Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. I started my Chemistry career in 2013 at Sri Venkateswara College with B. Sc. (H) and then M. Sc. Chemistry from Ramjas College. After that I joined Ph. D. in the department of Chemistry, University of Delhi and started working in the field of energy storage materials.

My research interest includes the design and bottom-up assembly of nano structured materials with relevance for global scientific challenges such as energy storage. My passion is to enable tomorrows future by the development of advanced materials using molecular metal oxides(polyoxometalates) as molecular building blocks for functional materials. The development of advanced materials is all about creativity and a profound understanding of structure-effect relationships.Having acquired these skills allows me to help shape the future of tomorrow.
