The Chemical Society of Daulat Ram College – “CHEMPHORIA” organizes various activities year-round including Fresher’s, Farewell, Annual Fest- ‘Quanta’, workshops, and guest talks by prominent personalities.

The Society democratically elects its office bearers by inviting nominations and conducting elections for the various posts. The posts consist of President from the 3rd year, Vice President and Secretary from 2nd year, and Joint Secretary and Treasurer from the 1st year. The office bearers and their extended team work energetically throughout the year by organizing meetings and events and collaborating between different groups to establish the unity and strength of the chemistry department.

“Quanta” is a scintillating annual fest of the chemistry department. High quality talks by eminent personalities are organized in order to deliver the high-quality and holistic learning experience to the student community and to give exposure to recent updates in their specialized field. The other inner and intra college academic activities like Quiz, JAM session, Poster making are also organized to bring out the artistic talent of the students coupled with their awareness of current scenario and also to showcase their spontaneity in expressing their views on various issues.

The annual Fresher’s party with a small talent showcase programme is organized to welcome new students warm heartedly in the college's friendly atmosphere and to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. At the end of a session, an annual Farewell is also organised to celebrate the three years memorable journey of seniors and to wish them luck for their future endeavours.

Accompanying this, the annual magazine ‘CHEMAROMA’ is also published which comprises of articles highlighting latest trends and research in chemistry from students, faculty members, and alumni, tastefully combined by the Editorial Board.
