S-marketing


The Marketing Cell of Daulat Ram College is one of the most actively working and creatively distinctive cells of University of Delhi. The cell was established in 2016 and since then has been functioning relentlessly to push boundaries and to introduce never seen before marketing dynamics. Smarketing hosts engaging seminars, educative sessions and challenging inter and Intra College level competitions throughout the year, gathering massive reach and response from students around and about. With this cell we aim to bring out the marketer in every student with a creative bent of mind and hunger to make some change. The cell has organised workshops on DIGITAL MARKETING, many ONLINE and OFFLINE events like, #SayIn25, #SayIn10, Play of Opposites, Pinterest, to name a few. The team is divided into five heads namely: Organising, Finance, Creative, Public Relations and Research & Development. Smarketing also hosts its flagship event, ‘THE VYING STREET’ every January that welcomes crowd from various colleges of University of Delhi and other universities in overwhelming numbers. The Vying Street with its motto: MAGIC, MATTER, MARKET hosts three major events every year that borders around the domain of marketing but in different dynamics respectively. The debating event, ‘THE DISCORD’ tests the candidates’ stance and how well they market their voice that stands best suited to their advocacy. ‘THE MARKETING TRILOGY’ invites electrically sharp and creatively edgy candidates in teams to compete in rounds of three to test several marketing and teamwork skills. The last year witnessed the inception of an exclusive business event: ‘THE BERKSHIRE’ wherein the teams of two were challenged to put their best foot forward as they stepped onto the business gameboard which tested their financial analysis, business quotient and deciphering abilities. Smarketing for the first time ever launched its ‘VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME’ last year expanding its horizons to extend the functioning of this cell with students of diverse courses. The cell takes the road not taken when it comes to the digital content on its social media handles. Our posts are an amalgamation of wit, humour and creativity. In the age where content is the face and basis of marketability, we take pride in delivering original and innovative content with a strong message. WORDS SAY A LOT AND SO DO WE. Marketing is an underrated wonder of the world, a wonder we take pride in working towards and expanding forward with a highly motivated and talented team.
