College aims to become zero discharge campus. Thus it has set up a recycling unit on campus which houses paper recycling machines and leaves-shredder machine. These machines help to make recycled paper and the leaves-shredder machine helps to make manure. The functioning of recycling unit is improving day by day with the manufacture of tons of fertilizer, which is used in house or sold outside, preparation of ceramic pots with medicinal/antipollution plants, making of white and brown recycled paper, use of these papers for painting. Ceramic pots and paintings made here are used as gifts for our guests in the college. Students can do their internship here and can earn NSS hours by participating in its functioning. Ever since its inception in 2016, this unit has processed tons of shredded leaves into manure , recycled paper and cartons, provided potted plants for gifting and also provided folders, paintings , carry bags made from recycled paper. Training workshops help to train the students and community members regularly.
